Hi, I’m Mariia.
I photograph families in Luxembourg — at your home, outdoors, or in my home studio.
I’m a mother of two daughters, so I know exactly how these sessions really go. I know that a three-year-old won’t sit still on command. I know the snack has to happen before the good light does. I know that somewhere around minute fifteen everyone stops performing and just starts being — and that’s when the photos I love actually happen. So I don’t ask you to pose. I let your family be itself, and I catch the real things: the way your daughter grabs your hand, the face your son makes right before he laughs.
I’m also a psychologist by education, and that’s still how I work. Parents worry about looking awkward. Kids sense when the adults are tense. My job is to take that pressure off the room and to notice the small, quiet moments you’re too busy living to see.
